Strongest Neighborhood Housing Markets of 2019
Pilsen, Hyde Park and Chatham stood out this past year as neighborhoods with an increase in sales and list prices, and a decrease in market time, signs of a strong market.

Check out this article from Crain’s Chicago Business reviewing sales of condos and townhomes in Hyde Park and Pilsen, and single-family homes in Chatham. Home sales across the city may have been down almost 5% in 2019 from 2018, but these neighborhoods saw more homes sold, at higher average prices in less market time.
